STARTIMES SECURES BROADCASTING RIGHTS FOR AFCON 2023


 StarTimes, a media giant at the forefront of revolutionizing sports broadcasting, officially announces the acquisition of exclusive broadcasting rights for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote d'Ivoire 2023 and all CAF Events in 2024.

 This milestone agreement extends to Anglophone & Lusophone Countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, covering CHAN 2024 and AFCON 2025 Qualifiers. 

StarTimes continues its commitment to delivering premium sports content, solidifying its position as a key player in the African media landscape.

Scheduled to unfold in Ivory Coast from January 13 to February 11, 2024, the AFCON 2023, organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), promises an exhilarating experience with 52 matches featuring 24 nations.

This marks the second time Côte d'Ivoire hosts this prestigious tournament.

The investment in broadcasting rights for AFCON 2023 and CAF Events underscores StarTimes' dedication to promoting African sports. This strategic move aims to bring the excitement of AFCON to a wider audience, fostering unity and pride across the continent.

All 52 games will be broadcast live and in HD on StarTimes Sports channels, including Sports Premium, Sports Life, and Beta Sports on TopStar.
