Chilanga Cement Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to strong institutional collaboration through a courtesy visit to the Zambia Metrology Agency (ZMA), where the delegation was formally received by the Acting Executive Officer, Dr. Eng. Michael Nsefu, and the Director of Corporate Services, Ms. Mirriam C. Mhango. The engagement was aimed at strengthening stakeholder relations and appreciating ZMA’s continued technical support.
The delegation, led by Plant Manager Mr. Jun Zhao, visited ZMA to express gratitude for the support rendered throughout 2025.
Mr. Zhao noted that ZMA’s technical guidance has been instrumental in improving packaging accuracy and ensuring compliance with required standards, thereby enhancing product quality and consumer confidence.
Mr. Zhao further expressed optimism that this valuable collaboration will continue into 2026, emphasizing the importance of sustained technical support in maintaining high operational and compliance standards.
He was accompanied by Mr. Juan Huang, Executive Assistant; Ms. Hu Pin, Quality Manager; Ms. Nyankutowa, Optimisation Manager; and Ms. Alexina Banda, Quality Coordinator.
Responding on behalf of ZMA, the Acting Executive Officer, Dr. Eng. Michael Nsefu, assured Chilanga Cement of the Agency’s unwavering support. He reiterated ZMA’s commitment to providing technical assistance whenever needed to ensure continued compliance with legal metrology requirements and best practices.
